A lot of times people will ask me why I hardly do much beyond sketching things.

It's simply this. After all these years I have yet to become comfortable with doing the line-art in preperation of coloring..
I've looked up many tutorials and have tried different techniques, but for some reason I still haven't become comfortable with it.

Most of my energy when trying to color goes into trying to do the line-art. I also start to lack patience halfway through doing so, or coloring.

I know I have the skills to do a far better coloring job than I have done recently, but with my lack of time to actually sit down and concentrate on it like I want to I am far more likely to just rush everything.

I have been working on a new drawing though. I already re-lined the artwork in Open Canvas so I'm kind of going to have to color it in that now, but i'm going to try not to rush this one and see how well I can get it to come out.

I update this so... unfrequently...
But yes.. Here it is.. my birthday..
I'm 24 now and it just seems weird.. "Well ok as I type this theres 30 minutes left.. but whatever."

I've been drawing since I was about 16 and I really don't feel like I'm where I should be by now with my art...

But I guess with all my hiatuses and distractions it can't be helped...

Lets see what kind of improvements I make throughout this year!

So as everyone may have noticed... Or probably have not noticed cause I've kinda lost touch with any fanbase I may have once had...

That I've been drawing more again!

I've been taking extra time out of my day to try and draw more.. I've also been fleshing out the story and Ideas for my Comic "Fallen Folf"

Work has been hectic and stressful, and I've found stress relief in drawing again.

I'm glad I'm able to use that to get out my emotions and frustrations again.

Honestly the stuff I draw in my sketchbook is better than the stuff I do with my tablet, so maybe I'll start scanning more of that in order to post it.

I do plan to get a new Tablet in the comming months so hopefully I will get one that will feel a bit more comfortable.

Anyway! Hopefully I can build back up my fanbase and make some new friends now that I'm drawing again!

Sorry, I really slack on art these days.

I'm pretty sure everyone's stopped paying attention by now!

But for anyone who does still pay attention, I've gained a bit of motivation back.
I've been sketching a lot lately, and it feels good to be doing something.. But from lack of a good program for coloring (I hate coloring in Open Canvas) I haven't bothered to finish any of them..

I was using SAI but my trial expired and I have other things that I need to spend money on atm..

But anyway, I plan to do some fanart sketches soon, to try and keep my drawing motivation growing.
